I have journals dating back 9 years to when I first met my husband. Those old journals serve as a reminder of why we fell in love and what my thought process was.

You don’t need to get a fancy journal, a simple notebook will do. But, if you decide to get a cute and fancy journal, Erin Condren has some cute ones.

Take a nap when you’re bored?

I know, sounds counter-intuitive, right? But sometimes we just need to practice the art of doing NOTHING.

We all get caught up in our mundane lives. We forget to relax and say no.

If there’s anything I have learned from the quarantine is that it’s ok to slow down, just relax, and be ok with doing nothing.

Write out your ideal life

What will it take to make you happy and living your ideal fulfilled life? What kind of work do you want to be doing?

Where would you live, do you have a family? How much money do you want to make? Describe your ideal partner?

You get the idea! Be very specific and list details.

Another amazing productive things to do is reading books to enhance your creativity.

Fiction books are a great way to escape your reality and dive into another world. But if you’re hoping to gain knowledge, or to improve your mental wellbeing, then non-fiction books are for you. They are sort of my personal life coach.

Reading non-fiction books is the easiest and cheapest way to change your life. Check out my posts on Self-love books to build confidence and the Best self-improvement books.

Evaluate what’s preventing you from being productive

What distractions are you facing daily? Identify and remove them. My biggest distraction is YouTube. Once I watch one video, it’s real easy to spend hours on there.

So, when I need to work, I put my phone in another room to avoid YouTube.
